With a full complement of modern and efficient turbo driven petrol and diesel engines, the new BMW X6 will offer something for everyone.

The BMW X6 will be available with the critically acclaimed 3.0 straight six twin-turbo petrol engine originally showcased in 2007's BMW 335i Coupe and then added to the brand new 135i Coupe.
The all new twin turbo 4.4l V8 builds on the experience BMW has gained from the 3.0 flat six, with the engine developing 407bhp, with the turbos arranged, for the first time, in the v-space of the engine. This engine will propel the new BMW X6 to 60mph (100km/h) in just 5.4 seconds and on to a regulated top speed of 155mph (250km/h).
BMW will be offering two diesels, both of them twin turbo 3.0l engines, one developing 235bhp and the other, in a higher state of tune, developing 286bhp. The six cylinder diesel engines are a class act in refinement, flexibility, strength and economy and will no doubt prove the most popular option in the European market.
